Unfortunately I totally don't have time to go through each and every show anymore. :(

This coming season I'm going to be watching the second season of Fate/Stay, #Hibike! Euphonium and #Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?.

The site was down when I went to do this yesterday so a few shows have stacked up which means I'll have to keep it really brief.

#Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE! - Under the guidance of a pink wombat from another world, five effeminate guys in silly outfits defend earth from a mysterious shadow organisation.

#Kantai Collection: KanColle - An adaptation of a very popular, browser based, Japanese card game. It's an action show set in WWII times featuring real historical warships (sometimes also planes) with the twist being the ships are anthropomorphised into girls.

#Shinmai Maou no Testament - Toujo Basara is a highschool boy. His father remarries and he gains two sisters. They just so happen to be a succubus and a demon lord. It's an ecchi harem, I'm sure you can see where this is going.

#Juuou Mujin no Fafnir - You know that anime you watched once where there is a power that usually only girls can use but there is one guy who can do it as well? This is going to be everything that anime was again.

#Koufuku Graffiti - It's a SOL comedy about cute girls cooking produced by Shaft.

Wow. This one deserves a dedicated post. #Yuri Kuma Arashi is a Yuri show about bears rising up and attacking humanity. Yes really, there is no need to adjust your computer monitor as it is functioning correctly.

I'm just going to post the full show details from ANN because it's frankly god-damn hilarious. If you are a little liberal with your translation of 'Yuri' the title of the anime basically translates to Lesbian Bear Storm, how can you even think about passing that up?

"Some time ago, the asteroid Kumaria exploded in the depths of space.

The resulting fragments became a meteor shower that rained down on Earth, and for some reason, bears all over the world rose up and attacked humanity! In "Man vs. Bear," the bears ate the humans and the humans shot the bears, resulting in a seemingly unending battle and a cycle of hatred. In the end, a giant "Wall of Extinction" was erected between the humans and bears and a state of mutual nonaggression came to pass...

The human world.

One morning, Arashigaoka Academy students Kureha Tsubaki and Sumika Izumino were by themselves and saw the "Yuri Flower" that bloomed in a flower bed. The two are friends as well as lovers. The flower bed is an important place to the two. At that moment, the Bear Alarms ring out! The bears are invading the human world, and humans are being attacked! Are they really those bears? One mystery invokes yet another mystery, one after another. The curtain rises magnificently on Yuri Kuma Arashi!"

Winter 2015 Season はじまるよ！

Kicking off the season right we have #Absolute Duo the Action, Ecchi, Harem set in a school. (Oh boy, I'm sure you already know if you are going to watch this one just on the genres alone but here we go anyway.)

After the untimely death of a loved one, revenge is the only thing on the mind of protagonist Tooru Kokonoe. In order to facilitate his newly found desires he enrols into Kouryou Academy a school that specialises in the ability to manifest your very soul into a weapon. Naturally when taking into account his newly found bloodlust, Tooru expects a mighty weapon that fully reflects his violent desires to be forged. However, once the manifestation is complete it's quite evident that not everything has turned out quite the way he suspected it would.

Basically done with this season! (There was nothing worth covering yesterday that wasn't a sequel.)

To wrap up we have #Sanzoku no Musume Ronja which airs today. It's a 3D animated fantasy from #Studio Ghibli about a young girl who lives with a band of bandits in the Scandinavian wilderness.

On the 13th we have #Girlfriend (Kari) which is an anime adaptation of a dating sim mobile game, the anime adaptation has an absolutely ludicrous number of characters.

Finally on the 17th we have #Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru which is a SOL made by the same people that made #Angel Beats!.

Everything beyond that is either not worth mentioning or a direct sequel.

What is everyone watching? Personally I've not picked up many shows this season, only 7 and one of them is a short. #Sora no Method, #Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu., #Amagi Brilliant Park, #Fate/stay night (2014), #Gugure! Kokkuri-san, #Orenchi no Furo Jijou and #Log Horizon 2.

• First year highschool student Mitsuka Souji has been granted the ability to harness his 'twintail' obsession and transform from his usual self into the superpowered, twintails wearing warrior known as TailRed. Now that Souji has been entrusted with this ability he must embrace his new alternate identity and help keep the peace on Earth. #Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu.

• In #Shirobako we follow five girls and experience the trials and tribulations that come with working in different aspects of the anime industry. It's an original series and there is not much more information around beyond that.

• #Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso focuses on Arima Kosei, a child prodigy whose skill was previously unmatched when it came to playing the piano. In the present day however this is no longer the case, two years prior to the start of the show he suffered a mental breakdown due to the sudden death of his mother which rendered him unable to hear his piano.

There may be hope for him yet due to the arrival of Miyazono Kaori, a beautiful, energetic violinist who is determined to bring Kosei out of his funk and back into the vibrant world of music.

• Worm like aliens called #Parasytes are invading Earth and taking people as hosts by crawling into unsuspecting humans ears and destroying their brains. 17 year old Izumi Shinichi has a lucky escape when a parasyte called Migi attempts to enter his body via his arm instead of directly targeting his head.

As a result of this failed takeover, both Migi and Shinichi retain their individuality and must how share the same living space while struggling to maintain balance.


• Ever since he was young, Kakei Kyoutarou has been interested in books. His school, Shiomi Academy, has one of the largest collections of books in Japan and he makes the most of them by being enrolled in the school Library Club.

One morning while travelling to school he receives a text from someone claiming to be 'the shepherd’. The message speaks of visions of the future, his changing fate and appears to be quite accurate.

#Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai follows Kyoutarou as he grows the membership of the library club and meets others that have received prophetic messages from the shepherd.

• It's been approximately half a year since 5 previously normal children acquired almost godlike supernatural powers. Despite now wielding unimaginable powers such as the ability to create objects from thin air or completely stop time, not much has changed in their everyday lives. In #Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de we join the members of the literature club as they continue their completely normal lives with their entirely abnormal powers. (It's also animated by #Studio Trigger!)

• I don't usually cover short anime but #Orenchi no Furo Jijou sounds so hilarious I had to make an exception. Highschooler Tatsumi's frugal approach to living is disrupted by the arrival the dashing merman Wakasa. Taking up residence in Tatsumi's bathtub, Wakasa brings along his carefree approach to life and vastly increased utility bills for Tatsumi.

• In the world of #Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis the aforementioned Bahamut had already been defeated and sealed away long ago by a combined force of humans, demons and gods. Bahamut was placed behind a seal that required a key from both the gods and demons to unlock, the future seems uncertain as the gods half of the key is stolen by humanity.

• #Sora no Method begins with protagonist Nonoka Komiya returning to her hometown for the first time in years. The most noticeable difference has to be the gigantic floating disc that now ominously hangs above town. While unpacking, Nonoka just can't shake the feeling that she's forgotten about something, a feeling that is further reinforced by the appearance of the mysterious Noel, a girl who claims to know Nonoka very well.

• 10 years have passed since the conflict between two groups known as the Holy Knights and the Seven Deadly Sins. This time round the tables have turned and the Holy Knights have staged a coup, overthrown the king and proclaimed themselves the rulers of the kingdom. #Nanatsu no Taizai follows Elizabeth, the daughter of the king, as she seeks out the vilified Seven Deadly Sins in the hopes of enlisting them and taking back the kingdom from the treacherous Holy Knights.

• Erika Shinohara is not unfamiliar with telling white lies and over-exaggerating her romantic endeavours. Things take a turn for the worst when she up's the stakes by claiming a random boy in a photograph is actually her boyfriend.

As it turns out, the boy in the picture is her schoolmate Kyouya Sata. To prevent the truth from coming to light she is forced into a fake relationship with Kyouya. In #Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji, her white lies turn black as she quickly realises her new 'boyfriend' is a black-hearted sadist who's more than happy to have a new toy to play with. (Clarification, this sounds like the plot to a bad hentai but it's listed as a PG-13 show.)

• #Fate/stay night (2014) Is going to be amazing, spoilers are everywhere so I can't properly look into it to do a summary.

• There is absolutely no way I could top the official description of #Grisaia no Kajitsu, go and read it on the page. It's a Psychological Drama based on a VN that nearly everyone seems to agree is fantastic.

• In #Gugure! Kokkuri-san, Kohina Ichimatsu's terrible eating habits capture the attention of the titular Kokkuri-san. While initially intending to haunt her, he decides to instead protect Kokkuri and attempt to change her cup-ramen obsessed ways.

(TL;DR /glassesadjust, White Magical Hat, Down to Earth Astronomers, Imperfect Paradise, This plot has never been done before.)

I hope you're ready to adjust your glasses because #Log Horizon is back. In #Log Horizon 2 we re-join Shiroe as he sets more of his grand schemes into motion. It's the 'After Halloween' festival and while Akihabara seems calm on the surface, behind the scenes financial turmoil is ravaging the Round Table who risk loosing control of the city unless they can come up with some serious cash.

Due to certain circumstances, Shiroe is unable to involve his past allies in his current moneymaking endeavour and must build a new raiding party from the ground up.


• #Magic Kaito 1412 follows Kaito Kuroba, an otherwise normal teenager who happens to moonlight as jewel thief. Kaito inherited his fathers persona of 'The Phantom Thief' after he was murdered by a shadowy organisation. He was targeted after refusing to assist them in locating the 'Pandora Gem', a gem that apparently holds to key to eternal life.

Despite knowing very little about the gem, Kaito is determined to find it and keep it out of the organisation's hands.


• In #Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete, Uchihama Academy has outgrown it's current school building and it due to switch to a newer larger one. The hyped up student body plan to have one final festival in the old building but rumours of strange goings on begin to cause their fervor to wane. In an attempt to quash these rumours, the school Astronomy Club attempts to get to the bottom of what is going on.


• Crown Princess Angelize's world comes crashing down around her ears in #Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo when it is discovered she is a 'Norma'. In this apparent utopian paradise discrimination against people who can't use the power of Mana, otherwise known as the Norma, is rife.

Quickly stripped of her status and lifestyle, Angelize chooses to seclude herself on a remote island away from the general population. After a chance meeting, Ange joins up with a group of Norma girls with a lust for battle.


• We also have the show '#Madan no Ou to Vanadis' that I can't really find enough information about to do one of these. Basically It's set in an alternate fantasy Europe and the MC is a young Archer called Tigre. He is defeated in battle by Ellen who is impressed with his skills and invites him to serve her instead of killing him. It's based on a LN that people seem to hold in high standing.
