Saved!Dr EggnogEditing … Once the monsters were all over the town I was done. I don't understand what I'm supposed to get out of parts in movies like that. So they're running amok, destroying things, and causing mayhem. So what? What's supposed to be enjoyable about that? There's hardly any humor. The ways the monsters are defeated is underwhelming. I don't care about anyone because the movie spent way more time on the protagonist trying to hide his dog than on giving the characters personality. I don't like all the hijinks with him trying to hide the dog. That stuff gets old fast for me. Reminded me of ET, which I didn't like. If this is modern times, why do the kids care so much about a dumb science fair? They should be playing video games! And the dog didn't get angsty about being undead until right when the parents found him. But then apparently at the end he's not angsty about being undead at all. Okay. Not well thought out in the least. At least the windmill scene was kind of exciting, and I did like the wide eyed girl with the cat, and I liked the beginning.
