Saved!NodleyEditing … In case you was wondering, it's FUCKING AWSOME!! There are a few not brilliant bits, but not many. The whole bit where they show Goose on the piano in the first film felt cheap, I think there might be a better way to do that part. The whole helicopter bit was just wrong, again there could have been a better way for what happened afterwards to happen, once you see it you'll know. The best bits are the flying scenes, oh my fucking god they are incredible! I've never seen any film that shows flying like that, it might not be 100% realistic but it's 100% worth watching. Oh, and for people that saw the first film, you remember how Maverick met Kelly McGillis the night before Top Gun in the bar then he finds out she's his instructor the next day? They recreate that part almost exactly but Maverick is the instructor, if that doesn't make you smile then nothing will. Apart from that it's just a basic 80s style movie with incredible flying scenes and some throwback memories to the original. It's a 9/10 all day long.
