It's super predictable and goes on too long but it's a good film.

Editing … I loved it. I heard a lot of people say Tom Holland was a great Spider-Man, or the best, but I was a bit skeptical because I really liked Tobey Maguire. Honestly though they were right; he's absolutely brilliant in the role. Keaton plays a great villain too. Overall the movie has a lot of heart.

Editing … I wasn't crazy about it. It's well made and Holland was a good choice who'll hopefully grow into the role, but in this film he feels like a borderline Iron Man sidekick. The Maguire films are corny and the Garfield ones are a mess but I still kind of prefer them.

Editing … tbh I preferred Spidey in Civil War over Homecoming. I'm with Richie, prefer Maguire and even Garfield over Holland so far.

Editing … I prefer Holland to Maguire but Maguire's first two films are still better than Homecoming. Garfield's films are all over the place but you can't fault the man himself for that, he plays the best Peter Parker/Spidey out of the three.

Editing … Maguire's easily my favorite, top Spider-Man, there's no contest for me.

Editing … Really? As pre-Nolan/pre-MCU comic adaptations go I like the films, especially the villains/action but Maguire's acting's a bit wooden, he was a little old for the part and had no chemistry with Dunst. Garfield had poor writers/second rate villains letting him down but he played a better Spidey.

Editing … If you preferred his Spidey then I'll just say well okay, but I actively disliked his Parker. Definitely preferred the nerdier Maguire portrayal. Yeah, his character's more adult than everyone else, graduates from high school and all, but that ended up being the character I far preferred.

Editing … Maguire's portrayal felt like the 1960s Lee/Ditko Peter Parker, he was such a nerd he felt more like a stereotype than a character. The Garfield take on Peter seem to be based more on the modern comics and the Ultimate comics which I definitely prefer and I honestly think he was perfect for that. He looks more like Peter (although still a little old for the high school origin story), he's nerdy/a bit awkward when we first meet him but not to the point where it's his defining character trait, he's more expressive but doesn't overreact, his comedic timing's better, they never made him do narration and he had way better chemistry with Stone than Maguire did with Dunst.
