Ben Lecomte's Pacific swim has ended, though he only travelled 3,200 miles, or 58.18% of his intended goal.. The swim took six months.
It's not a REAL Pacific swim if you take four months' worth of breaks.
But the crew accompanying him did get to study the ocean's effects on his body, and obtain thousands of samples that'll help improve our knowledge of the sea.
But I still wanna point and laugh at the guy who says he's swimming across the ocean when he spends most of his time in a bOAT

By the way, Ben Lecomte resumed his swim from where he left off. Like, a while ago, but I never remembered to post here.
The BIGGEST CHEAT can't even SWIM ACROSS THE LARGEST OCEAN

Ben Lecomte, cheater who "swam" across the Atlantic and was to do so across the Pacific, had to quit his journey midway through due to inclement weather. He said to the BBC via satellite from the deck of his boat, "I didn't want to risk getting wet."

The first man to swim across the Atlantic will soon be crossing the Pacific, over 180 days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XESUQig3DcY
Note that Ben Lecomte is a cheater and will be taking breaks on one of the boats, before using a GPS and resuming from where he left off. Find me someone that takes their breaks in the water, floating on their back. Might as well swim 5,500 miles back and forth in a swimming pool you filthy FUCK

Editing … He didn't even use that GPS tracking during his Atlantic run, and ended up completing the trip with an average speed of 3-4x more than other competitive long-distance swimmers. Obviously because of the boats.
