DXR is Microsoft's DX12 raytracing solution, RTX is what Nvidia calls their proprietary tech, with more API compatibility. Anything to keep away from DX12 and Windows 10. I'll probably buy a 2070 when the variations are out, probably go with whatever keeps coolest and quietest. Maybe it'll be MSI again.
