I didn't know that this system had so many Final Fantasy games. I spent more time playing Sonic Advance and Gunstar Super Heroes. And then I eventually switched to Namco Museum, because...Pac Man and Pole Position, man.Loading …

The Game Boy Advance was a fun portable platform for it's time which also marked the end of an era for portable nintendo consoles. It's library consisted of a lot of 2d platformers and rpgs which effectively made it as close to a portable snes as it could get without being outdated for the early 2000's. It's only flaws if you accept it for what it is is the lack of Screen lighting. A nice little piece of hardware. I've never owned a GameBoy Advance though; I've always played with an "Advance SP" which looks quite different from the original iteration. It is very comfortable to hold (not as big and clunky as the DS/3DS), has a long battery service life and - the best advantage the SP has over the original GBA - it has a front light feature so you can also play games in the dark. Backwards compatibility to GameBoy and GameBoy Color games is also great with a high amount of color palettes to choose from.
All the games I have ever played on this system are great! This is my favorite portable gaming device. 10/10Loading …
