    Saved!
I finally bought it. I remember borrowing this from a friend in high school. Sounded really awesome. I returned it one week later. Instantly forgot about them. Sigh. Tends to happen with me and Australian bands. Oh well.

Y'know, if I wrote songs like this in high school, I could've made a mint. Well, I couldn't write songs like this, so there. Dammit. Silverchair kicked my a$$.

Silverchair was never the most revolutionary grunge band, but they proved that even a bunch of scrappy teenagers could perform some of the best hits of the genre. "Tomorrow" was one of the most powerful ballads of the 90s. I think the guitarist was singing something about tap water and that there's no bathroom? About 90 percent of their fans probably just recognize this as the album with a song about bad tap water. I mean, the song calls out fat, rich moguls, but come on. The lyric about water was the most memorable part.

...This album used to appear in all the CD store ads, but I don't think anyone remembers the singles very well. They were the teenage noobs in the Australian grunge scene, so everyone used to make fun of them. Then they kept playing really good songs and it wasn't funny anymore. Lol.
