The full version of FM24 is now out and my 170 hours are in the bin because of the reports from beta testing means my save might have glitches.

So I'm starting with a new team! Suggest me a team. I don't want a Real Madrid or Bayern Munich I fancy a challenge! Perhaps I should take a German 3rd division team to the top?

Perhaps I should do an Americas save where I can only manage teams in north or south America so I don't know any players or rules?

Perhaps a save in Switzerland but I can only sign swiss players?

Do you guys have any good ideas to challenge me?

God damn it man! I just can't get this one right! I'm languishing down in 15th in the French third division, and I can't score, I can't buy a win to save my life. I know everything about the game but this challenge is too tough.

I'm loving it! I got bored of winning everything all the time, I'm more interested in this ass fucking I'm getting than anything else in my life right now.

I won the title in Serbia using just kids. On the final day of the January transfer window Man City came in for my best player and defender for just £650,000. I let him have a low foreign club release clause because I thought no big team would ever come for him. A year later he hasn't played a single game. But strangley after he left I went on a 20 match unbeaten run to win the title.

Roll on a season later and I'm close to defending my title and just about to face Valencia in the quarter finals of the Europa Leage. But again, I lost my goalkeeper and right winger at the end of January, both of who were star players but this time I learned and got £10m and £13m from Chelsea and Arsenal.

Not that money matters much, I haven't spent a single penny on players! And I don't intend to start now.
But the money I have got has gone straight into training and youth facilities which are now excellent.

OK, my Serbia youth challenge only save is starting to come good. After promotion in season 1 then two 4th place finishes in a row I'm going into the Christmas break joint top of the league. I might not get it this year but next year is a dead cert if I can hang on to my players one more season at least(They're all contracted for years, I'm sure I can).

I have not bought a single player, they have all come through my youth team or been free transfers. And all players were 21 or under Serbians, or 17 and under foreign players. Plus I can only have 4 foreigners in the starting line up so this is coaching, training and tactics that make the difference. My tactic is finally honed in season 4, I'm now super happy with it but it's had a million alterations. It's a 442 or a 424 if you want to call my wingers attackers, which they definitely are. My young players are developing massively because I have no choice but to play them and it's working the long game well.

I'm really enjoying the challenge as I'm good at this game and most saves are easy and turn boring quickly but this one is actually challenging me. I might keep it going and see if I can win the Champions League with this tiny Serbian team before FM24 is released.

I've took on a new challenge: FK RAD Beograd in the Serbian second division.

But this challenge is different.
1. I can't spend any money on transfers, the players must come through my youth team or be free.
2. I can only sign players 21 and under.
3. I can only sign foreign players that will be classed as homegrown by the time they are no longer youth players, so max age of 17 for the foreign kids.

I did it, I toppled the mighty PSG with my Nancy team! I won on the last day to win the league by a point.

Now, do I try and win the Champions League and see how far I can go or should I start a new save somewhere else?

Ugh, I'm having 2nd season syndrome.

After finishing 2nd in Ligue 1 in my first season there with a super confident squad the momentum has been lost and I lost all 3 of my first games. Imma turn it off and have a break. Then come back and arrange a teamtalk to tell them not to drop their heads as they're playing well still.

I think this is programmed in to the game because it happens so often irl. I guess I just gotta ride out the programming then win the title next season.

The full game released on Tuesday and the minor bugs from the beta are all fixed.

This game is amazing, it's the best football manager game ever by a massive margin. The opposition managers are now much more realistic and they will adapt to situations, like if losing they'll go all out attack in the final 10 minutes so you need to adapt too. The players AI is much improved and it's almost like watching a real match now, they make mistakes and have bad touches and everything else.

I'm going to say this game isn't just the best football manager game ever made, it's straight in my top 5 games of all time, it's really that good.
