Those of you who want to save money in a separate account--and especially those who have trouble saving with a conventional savings account with your bank--should really try Digit. I was never good at setting aside money with weekly manual deposits into my savings, and automatic transfers with my bank for a set amount always made me worried about the possibility of an overdraft. I've used Digit for just over a year and have saved probably about $1,500 in that time (could have been more, but I adjusted it to save more aggressively after a couple of months). It's also a convenient way to check on my checking balance and transfer funds without having to open my banking app (and actually it kindly sends you a daily text to tell you your balance).
