I'm mildly amazed that this site actually exists.

Editing … I wonder if someone actually has to pay separate hosting fees just for that.

Editing … I figure if you already have hosting for other websites, those wouldn't cost extra but. Like how I have my website and I can make more websites on the same server if I want.

Editing … Sure, the hosting can be shared like that with other websites. But registering the domain has to be done per domain and will still cost you, I don't know, $ 15 a year.

Editing … 15 a year is alright. It's the monthly hosting costs that make having a website expensive.

I'm studying in a Cal State Long Beach Cybersecurity bootcamp. I'm learning how to...break things? I mean, people pay bounties for bug fixes, so I guess this is okay. I think.

Well, I could've used some more in-depth instructions from my computer science professor, but I created a cheap, do-it-yourself web server on my local network using XAMPP. It's not really premium corporate quality. However, it's still the cheapest way to get acquainted with Apache servers. I figured out how to build a simple database that worked reasonably well with SQL commands.

Programmed a mid-term project and a web page assignment in one day. I don't usually do this, but I had very little time to do this over the week. Besides, I needed the practice.

I must be a total geek. All my recent purchases either involve flash memory, hacking, or the post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future. This is what I get for listening to too much Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada...

Editing … Yeah. I think I was trying to wean away from EDM and electronic stuff by that point, but then Boards of Canada released Tomorrow's Harvest. Kind of hard to resist a band that viral markets their album on Adult Swim and at the Lake Delores Waterpark. And inevitably, I ran in Oneohtrix Point Never on Spotify. Good stuff.

I tried to resist, but I went through debugging hell a second time. I survived, except for that last test with the custom smart pointers and the reference counts. I'm sick of looking at pointers and counters. I need scissors. 61.

Good lord, took me forever to debug one of my assignments. I probably could have done it differently, but hey, my program did the job. I have no regrets.

Actually, programming bugs make me want to stab goats or something. At least I haven't programmed a crappy Assassin's Creed sequel.
