Why is the pocket sized paperback version of books no longer a thing? I pick them up secondhand all the time because they're so convenient. They're light, they're flexible, and I can fit them in a quart sized ziploc to waterproof them when I take them into the wilderness. They look nice and uniform on a shelf next to the rest of my media. They're perfect, I don't understand people's obsession with hardcovers.

When I can't sleep I clean and organize shit
But there are too many books, where do I even put them? I can't even see what's sorted in my bookcase because of the piles stacked in front of them. Does anyone have any ideas as to where to put these books? Not sure I have the space for another bookcase. I'd rather not get more large boxes either. A new idea would be swell.

Hey guys, what was your favourite book as a child? Do you still have it? Did you often read as a kid? Do you enourage/did you encourage your own kids to read?

I used to read all the time when I was younger, and only really stopped when DVDs came into existence :P

Editing … I started reading my dads books when I was about 7 and he had the entire Sven Hassel collection, those definitely aren't children's books but they were my favourite. They still are. My favourite childrens book was Redwall and I now own the complete collection of those too. There was another I loved called Scotty of the Secret Squadron but I can't find it anywhere, I'd love to read it again.

Guess where I'm posting from? The library! I used to come here all the time back when I hadn't put internet in my duplex yet. Now you don't have to bring your own headphones or buy them. They have the big poofy kind attached to every computer. Ugh, takes me back to school. Just realized I don't need to wear them when I'm not listening to something. I have some good memories of this. Like watching the amazing pony episode Sleepless in Ponyville. Or doing those little reviews of all the season 1-3 pony episodes. Okay, so they're all pony memories, but what did you expect? There was also the one time I used the Favslist chatroom before it became all about sports, that was awesome.

Editing … It's nice. If there are multiple computers open then you can usually keep extending your time. And it wasn't a long walk from either my parents house or the duplex. Having home internet is better for convenience, Steam games, porn, etc. but if I somehow got desperate for money and I had to cut the internet bill I could survive by using the library again for a while. Plus today I was able to get my Kodocha fix. Wouldn't you know I break my laptop when I'm hooked on a show?
