You should mash them and put them on toast with some salt and pepper like a proper hipster. Cut them in half over the tall side and take out the pit and scoop out the insides. It's best to peel them though once you cut them because the vitamins are most concentrated in the outer most part of the mush. That part is also greener in colour.
Saved!rockshard PhDEditing … If the pit doesnt scoop out easily that means you cut them too early and they ain't ripe. I usually just eat the insides w a spoon using the skin as a bowl. But if you want to serve it on top of salad or something then you can slice the insides before scooping them out. (or scoop em out then slice them)
