By now we all know everyone and their gran's 2015 game of the year lists, but as I know most people on here like to dabble in some older games, I am curious as to what are your top games you PLAYED IN 2015. By this I mean games that you played for the first time in 2015, but that weren't released that year. I thought it would make for an interesting change of pace :)

    My top 10 would be:

Spoiler- Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (Fantastic story, great twists and fun characters)

    - Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Funny dialogue, likeable characters, enjoyable 'whodunnit' storyline)

    - Danganronopa: Trigger Happy Havoc (See above.... also good music :))

    - 999: Nne Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (Engaging plot, multiple routes, interesting philosophical quandries)

    - The Unfinished Swan (Artful, charming world, enjoyable narration, sense of wonderment)

    - Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Classic MGS "play how you want" gameplay brought into the modern age :))

    - Transistor ( Excellent artstlye, superb soundtrack and a fun, interesting battle mechanic)

    - Evoland (Fun tribute to Rpg history, multiple gameplay types, charming array of art styles)

    - Everlasting Summer (Fun engaging characters, interesting setting, easily replayable, multiple paths)

    - Never Alone (Informative, charming, nice animation)

What was your favorite game of 2015? We asked 22 of the smartest people we know – designers, critics, academics, political journalists, an actor, a playwright–and got 18 different answers.

Editing … I have zero interest in bloodborne and Witcher 3. I'll play life is strange as soon as it comes out on Blu-ray early next year. I'll wait for a complete edition of Arkham Knight bc I want to play the dlc without having to download those huge files first. Isometric dungeon crawlers that aren't called dungeon keeper bore me to tears. I've spent 100 plus hours with Metal gear solid 5 and xenoblade chronicles x so far, haven't finished either game. Rocket league is a multiplayer only game, right? If it is, then it can fuck right off.

Bloodborne and Witcher 3 are great games, Arkham Knight's a low point for the Arkham series but still good, I really enjoyed playing Fallout 4 for half an hour at a friends but I still need to get my own copy, Rocket League was a fun bit of multiplayer when I played it as a friend (kind of gutted I missed it on PS+) and Life is Strange reminded me of a bad young adult novel so I deleted the demo pretty quickly.

"Nintendo will be doomed, Sony will be hacked, Microsoft will do TV, EA and Ubisoft will launch broken games, and Valve will tease Half Life 3 at least once." - random GAF user
