Editing … Even though I don't agree on the combat either, I get what he's saying. Ever since Majora's Mask they tried to change how we see combat in Zelda games, with new moves or more enemies to face, but where they failed was that those new things did NOT make the combat interesting. It was still a pretty shallow, bare-bones combat system that requires minimum thinking no matter what enemy you face, no matter what item you need to think of and use. And like he says, that's not what Zelda's about. I don't necessarily agree with the overworlds either, i did love OOT and MM's worlds alot, but from that point on he's totally right. Wind Waker's world was boring and waaay to empty to overlook the tedium that is sailing around, Skyward Sword's design impeded it from having a huge world (it was designed like a big dungeon) and while I didn't particularly like that design philosophy I can kind of forgive them for trying something different, and Twilight Princess...*sigh*. A Link Between Worlds is the best Zelda game in over 10 years, let's just hope this was the slap in the face Nintendo needed to get back to what Zelda's really about! :D
