Playing the Avengers Beta and the single player feels so damn familiar. Come to find out it's developed by Crystal Dynamics and I literally just played through Rise of the Tomb Raider their last title. No wonder. It's pretty good, I think Ms.Marvel plays the best out of the heroes I was able to take control of. The main story singleplayer missions really do feel like something out of an Avengers movie. Wasn't impressed with the big set piece montage at the beginning of the beta but I think they were just trying to give you a chance to play as everybody. Combat doesn't feel quite as polished as Insomniac's Spiderman or Rocksteady's Batman but it's fine.
