Americana Deluxe proved that the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy were the hottest swing revival band in Southern California. Their hits really helped to bring the genre back into the mainstream through movie soundtracks and commercial/pop-friendly jingles such as "Go Daddy-O." They even headlined one of the swing concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. Back in the days, no swing ensemble could match the energy of the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
