It's a movie about a mother and her kids who spend the whole movie boxing birds.

...Or that's what the movie should've been about. Bird Box is an entertaining biological warfare horror movie, but don't expect the characters to explain ANYTHING.

Sandra Bullock gives a decent performance. However, that opening sequence is really silly. I mean, Sandra just accepted without any argument that the epidemic in Russia just spread all the way to the U.S. in one or two days. Makes a whole lot of sense!

There's a decent ending and plenty of suspense. Just keep in mind that this movie is very campy.
