Need opinions people..I've beat Bloodborne but never touched a Dark Souls game, is it worth me giving it ago or is it a step down?

Richard Pale I prefer Souls to Bloodborne myself. They share a lot gameplay wise but the RPG side of things has way more depth (weapons/armour/levelling etc) and the world and lore are more my thing. The original Dark Souls is still the best in my book but it's a touch dated now and you won't find many people online for the coop so maybe go with Dark Souls 3.
