This outside-the-box take on the Lord of the Rings universe looks to offer gamers something beyond anything that we've seen before. While it may not be accurate lore-wise, if it turns out anything like the previews have shown so far, the Nemesis system may allow for drastically higher amounts of replayability.

Arkham Asylum was easily the best Batman game ever made. Followed up by Arkham City and Arkham Origins, each entry has expanded upon the Arkham universe in interesting and engaging ways. While the Watch Dogs release has put a damper on Ubisoft's image, The Division continues to looks strong each time a new tidbit is released. An open-world, squad based, 3rd person shooter-rpg could very well become a breakaway hit if it isn't plagued by server issues. Another game that may be popular for those looking to game with friends, this game looks promising. Here's hoping that it continues to do so over the coming year.

Amongst my friends, Left 4 Dead was a smash hit and after months of videos, articles and anticipation, Evolve looks like it's right up our alley. With a unique take on multiplayer, Evolve will suck up months of play time and if Turtle Rock Studios supports the game's community with more Hunters, Monsters and maps, this game could become a staple in my gaming collection.
