Robert BerlinVictoria II

Just bought this to just so I can run my super mega gigantic CK2>EU4>Vic2 campaign. And when the HOI4 converter isn't so barebone anymore I can go even further \o/! It's pretty sweet to see your country evolve throughout the games. I play as Mali so I started by uniting the west african tribes somewhere around year 769 and then I became a menace during the medieval ages that constantly harrased the christians in Europe. And now I'm a super power looking to bring my people into the 20th century.

Victoria II

Victoria 2 is a semi-real-time strategy game that models the entire world from 1836 to 1936. The focus is on political and economic management, as you'll have to manage the rise of liberalism, the surge of industrialization, and the relatively new idea....

Robert Berlin wrote his opinion about War of the Monsters

This is still the best Kaiju fighter out there. The presentation is lovely, everything is movie themed with each level having a sick old school monster flick poster to go along with it and the main menu being a drive in-theater ( when you open the options menu you go to the projectionist's room!). All the bootleg monsters are great too. You have the giant ape, the radioactive lizard, the japanese mech and even Sweeth Tooth from Twisted Metal as an unlockable skin! The destructible environments is what really makes it stand out though as you can reduce any of the playable cities to nothing but dust and rubble, and a lot of the stuff in the cities can be used as weapons! This is easily one of my favorites in the PS2 library.

Score: 8.5 (Great!)

free fall It is a really cool game... Giant monsters are one of the most classic film traditions but I don't think they get any respect.

Robert Berlin Indeed, and there are so many untapped ideas for monster films. There are thousands of animals out there that have yet to have a giant monster film about them. Where\'s my red panda monster flick, hollywood?!

Mr. ZAP My most played game of all time. What do you like about it/who do you play?

Robert Berlin I like it (and really any similar game) because of the alternate world history that you can create. I have run two mega campaigns with the converter from Crusader Kings II. One as Mali where I eventually got pushed out of Europe by France after dominating them earlier and another one as Scotland where I ended up being a colonial superpower. I may play a normal game some day but I really like to do the mega campaigns.

Okey so this was actually far much better than I\'d thought. I really liked that they altered some of the more famous aspects of the Batman mythos. For example (MEGA SPOILER AHEAD)

Also, that ending left me really hyped for a sequel.

Gries He That's actually exactly how my save file played out, he still had some violent outbursts nonetheless. Anyway, shitty game is awful.
