Visited the D&D Museum in Lake Geneva the other day! It's a tabletop gaming shop, but it's also the building where D&D first got started, in Lake Geneva, WI. There, I did a tour and learned more about how it began. It was really cool to see the history of a game that's helped me stay in contact with friends of mine from high school, highly recommended.

Started the new school year! Assuming nothing else catastrophic happens, this will be my first school year teaching completely in-perosn. After two days getting to know students and setting things up for the year, I'm feeling great about the year. Here's hoping!

    DND update!

-The campaign with high school friends ended! After a year and a half, it was bittersweet to see it come to a close. So, as a thing in between bigger campaigns, I'm running a shorter adventure based on Dante's Inferno.
-The campaign with college friends is still going on, which has been fun, though finding times to meet has been harder during the summer than during the school year, strangely enough.

It is an ambulance for treating ham, an ambulance made out of ham, or a vehicle for the emergency deliverance of ham? Or perhaps are you referring to the Oscar winning 1978 French film Hambulance (om-byuh-lontz), which uses hambulances as a metaphor for the human condition?

It's been a while since my last DND update. Here's where the campaigns I'm in are at:
-For the campaign with my high school friends, our murder mystery side campaign ended a few months ago, and my cleric survived! He will probably never get used again, but oh well. We're actually nearing the end of the main campaign, so within a few months, I'm retiring my sorcerer I created back in December 2019. Wow, time flies...
-As for the campaign with my college friends, my gnome barbarian is doing fine, and miraculously hasn't died yet! I also created my own Gnomish language for use in the campaign, which has helped add something new and interesting into this adventure.

Good fun with friends, don't know how I'd feel if I were playing it otherwise.
