The original Mount and Blade was a jerky, but wonderful and immersive medieval Action-RPG with really satisfying combat along the ability to raise an army to take over the land, siege castles and establish an empire, all from the ground level of a footman. The sequel offers this and much more with enhanced sieges, destructable terrain, enhanced diplomacy and many more options.
