    Saved!
Watching this with my girlfriend was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had with a film. The characters are so relatable and believable; although there are lots of recognizable actors in this movie, their performances were so well done that it made me forget who they were. The memories set-pieces are all incredibly inventive and surreal and the attention to detail in these scenes is just incredible. The movie's concept and message, writing, cinematography, and acting are all top notch and everything works together so well.

      Editing … A solid 6/10. It's like whatever.

Editing … This movie gets so much unwarranted hate, it's ridiculous.

Editing … I don't hate it, I'm just confused by people giving it 10. The premise is interesting but it felt unexplored and wasted on a romance plotline and it's weird seeing Jim Carrey without anything funny happening. The only part of the film I'd call outright bad is the title. The rest is fairly okay, I'd say 6/10 as well.

Editing … It's pretty clunky, kind of reads like a bad high school poetry metaphor.

Editing … I like the title because it sounds kind of strange which makes it more memorable and it ties into the plot really well.

Editing … I find Jim Carrey's comedic roles to be insufferable. I like his dramatic roles though.

Editing … But it's a) a fairly good metaphor and b) from the quote that is very central to the movie. I don't know what's there to actuall dislike.

Editing … The metaphor is that there is eternal sunshine (happiness) in a spotless mind (a mind with no memories and emotional scars). Are you sure you watched the movie, this is the biggest theme in the whole shitshow.
