I wish each stage had its own music. One reason I like the game less the farther in I go is that I'll hear music in a later stage and I feel like it only belongs in the stage it was originally in, like I identify it with that level.

Editing … I don't like that game at all, it was a serious letdown after SMW.

Editing … I grew up with 3D platformers, so for this this is like the base building block of everything gaming. 3D platformers are the only games where I like experimenting and trying to figure out how to do things, and in Mario 64 it works how some of the stars are like puzzles cause you don't have to get all of them so it's okay if I can't figure some of them out.

Editing … I pity you youngsters, having to spend good money on garbage and then having to play it. All good Nintendo games died out with the SNES

Editing … I wasn't young when I played Nintendo games. Grew up with a ps1 then ps2. Also my favorite game I've played since Persona 3 was Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

Editing … Compared to other 3D platforming efforts around the same time (like Bubsy 3D), Super Mario 64 felt unusually ahead of its time in terms of its polished controls and gameplay.

Editing … nodley played dirty with that Crash Bandicoot card. Growing up, I liked shitty 3D platformers like Jersey Devil and A Bugs Life way better than Crash Bandicoot. I also liked the supposedly abysmal Twisted Metal III, which everyone seemed to hate because the courses were small and the cars occasionally flipped on their back, nevermind how much better the graphics and controls were than Twisted Metal II or that II's courses were not noticeably bigger imo. Silent Hill, Spider-Man, Final Fantasy VII, and Resident Evil were also some of my first games. I barely ever got past the first room of Metal Gear Solid lol. Fucking stealth. My sister had an NES as well as a ps1 and I liked it though not as much because the games were hard to get very far in and the graphics were 2D. But I liked Super Mario Bros and a couple other games okay.
