Nostalgia personified. Theatrhythm will be remembered as a great experiment that worked with mostly positive results. First, it brilliantly proved that video game music can make for a compelling, addictive soundtrack to a rhythm game, regardless of its origin. It also makes playing those same tunes repeatedly a little more tolerable by feeding you little carrots along the way such as new abilities, items and characters. However, it also does leave me as a Final Fantasy fan, wishing for even more. More modes, more story, more songs and more gameplay depth all could have helped it become an all-time classic, and a can't-miss title for fans of all genres.
