Finished it just before the end of holidays, last time I did I think I was 15 or so. Apart from the graphics and some pacing issues towards the end it's still a fun game. I'd forgotten a lot about the story, it has a very pro-planet message that is even more relevant now than it was back then. It's odd playing something so old that doesn't feel out of place with current events, but it was a nice surprise. I like the writing style in the older FF games. It can still be cheesy and emotional, but the dialog moves at a fast pace so you never get bogged down in it. I'd also completely forgotten about the "500 years later" scene! I'd actually like to see a game set in that period rather than a remake now lol.
