Just got to Cosmo Canyon and finished the events there. I forgot how sad and touching the game was. Square's writing was simpler and more down to earth, easier to relate to. I guess they couldn't just keep writing these same type of stories forever though, it will be fun to see how they flesh it out in the remake though.
