It's really sad to me that this is the only NES game on the top 100 favorite list. Come on! Blaster Master? Crystalis? Mega Man 2? Metal Storm? These all deserve some recognition. They're still really fun and deep games. I understand the point of view that newer games have surpassed older ones, but I think it's really important to have some historical perspective in lists such as these. Historical importance, influence, and innovation should all be considered as important as how "good" games seem to be now. Despite its importance, I can understand not including a game such as Super Mario Bros. because of how difficult the controls are and how simple the gameplay is, but some games (like the aforementioned) go beyond such technical limitations to be worth playing even today. Leaving them off all-time lists disrespects their greatness.
