Not usually a fan of Ninja Theory (although Heavenly Sword had it's moments) but I am intrigued to see how this turns out

Editing … I hadn't heard of this game but this looks really interesting. Apparently it's been pushed back to 2016 (but for some reason I can't edit the page to make this correction rn). I'm really interested by the premise of exploring mental illness (specifically psychosis) in this game, though the fact that they're relying on a psychiatrist who is probably not psychotic and probably are not asking and listening to actual psychotic people about their own experiences with psychosis gives me pause. They have a golden opportunity here, and I would hate for them to squander it that way.

Editing … I recall seeing an interview between the developer and someone from Playstation. He said they were speaking both to people with experience working with mentally ill patients as well as the patients themselves. Whether or not this is true, I cannot say, but it gives me hope that we will see an interesting take on the subject that we may not have seen in games before. The fact that it is being made by a team of only 14 people should push them to be more creative with the development too. I'll definitely be keeping it on my radar

Editing … That's good if they do get significant input from psychotic people on the subject. It could in fact be revolutionary for representations of mental illness in gaming, which are pretty scarce atm, or don't really take the perspectives of actual mentally ill people into account.
