There's been a trend towards moving to "dumb," "consolized" PCs just for gaming. I don't like it either. For me, PC gaming has always been about experiences I can't get anywhere else. That means, sitting at a desk, with a monitor in front of me, with one hand on the keyboard, and the other on the mouse. That said, it's also been years since I regularly played PC games, because those experiences don't exist anymore, and everything gets released on consoles now (no, I'm not gonna play Dota 2 or LoL, and don't even get me started on the masses of garbage survival and horror games on Steam Greenlight, ugh...).
