Oh, the memories. For me, THIS was the online experience that made me generally drop desires for a social life for a few years. Before using a mic in an online game started to become a chore; the 8v8 maps, the lack of instant respawn, and the exchange of communicating strategies necessary for victory, encouraged teamwork in a satisfying way that I haven't seen in an online shooter since.

A decade later, I can still remember many of the handles that I used to spend endless sessions playing this game with. For a decent chunk of life, this WAS my social life, and it never felt like time wasted. If not for the hackers, who knows how much longer I would have stuck with this game.
