Wow, big news you guys. It's been announced that Tetsuya Nomura has stepped down as #Final Fantasy XV's director and has been replaced with Hajime Tabata, who did Crisis Core, Type-0 and 3rd Birthday. The reason given is so Nomura can focus on #Kingdom Hearts III now. Well, at least he wasn't "asked to leave" the company, like Yasumi Matsuno during the development of FF12, but still, it's a little unfortunate that he won't bring this game to a close after so many years.

As an aside, #Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been given a North American release date of March 17 and PAL release date of March 20. It'll include a voucher for a FF15 demo called "Episode Duscae." I guess this generation's system-seller will be a demo for me.

Editing … Actually, now that I think about it, #Bloodborne and #The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt come out the month before. Damn, great time to become a PS4 owner.

Editing … Sad to hear, but I feel as if this was decided the moment they chose to rebrand the game as a main numbered instalment. At this point, there will be too much of Nomura's influence in the game that I don't think we will miss out on much, especially with the demo hopefully signifying a near-complete status for the game. Also good to see Square-Enix focusing their developers once again and not have them lead multiple projects. As for Type-0 HD coming in March, yes please!! Always had an interest in the game, and the extra polish they have given the HD version has the game looking gorgeous :)

Editing … Crisis Core is the Final Fantasy thing of the last decade that I care about, so this feels like good news to me.
