Oh, how do I rate this? The first 4 seasons were "must watch" TV for me, and it's so easy to recommend it based on the first half of the series... but how do you tell someone to stop watching after the 4th season (especially after that finale) when what follows is a smattering of great episodes sprinkled amongst a sea of "will Dexter find true love?" nonsense - Of course not, he's a serial killer, and I hated that they wasted so much time trying to wedge that concept into the life of a serial killer. It only worked with Rita because it wasn't about love, it was about being a chameleon, and fitting in. The first half feels like a 10, but the second half feels like a 6, so I guess I'll split the difference and call it an 8.
