The Bethesda/Obsidian Fallout games are my all-time favorites, although I use mods to play them as first person survival shooters. The amount of content is simply incredible, as is the control over how you play. Nobody supports modding like Bethesda, allowing you to make the game exactly what you want to play. The humor is nice, too.
