Improves on the original in most respects. Combat is better, the levels are better, more challenging enemies and puzzles, and it incorporates more mythology. Unfortunately it drops the ball when it comes to the character motivations of both the protagonist and antagonists. If you're willing to overlook that though it surpasses the original.
