With Crash the Playstation had found its mascot, even if the system would later demonstrate the days of system-selling mascots were over. Unlike Super Mario 64, Crash would star in a more linear platformer, and say what you will, I think that better fits the genre. Will the original isn't varied or as fun as its two sequels, this was a beloved game in many Playstation owners' collections.
