This game is beautiful. The designers were careful to not add anything to the game that was not needed. The environment is mainly empty to show that this is a abandoned land. The way the horse works is great. It may feel clunky but keep in mind that while on the horse you do not control the horse, you control wanderer on the horse. So it makes sense if the horse will sometimes ignore your constant pulling. Wanderer also moves realistically. There i a real struggle shown while he is trying to climb and stab a colossus. Im all for games that change the control to reinforce a games story. It was the same in Silent Hill 2 so its odd to hear people love that but complain about this. The story is simple but it really grabs your emotions. It reminds me of a Studio Ghibli film kinda. The magical feeling they give me is present in this game. Maybe thats just me but thats how I feel. The contrast between riding your horse and fighting keeps the game from getting boring. This game is a classic.
