It's ironic that most fans claim that Sonic went downhill in his 3D days, yet my personal favorite in the series is his second 3D outing. SA2 was a bold move by Sega to introduce a deeper story to the franchise, and while it wasn't a good idea to continue this trend, it was perfected here. The backstory of Shadow, Gerald Robotnik's martyrdom on the planet, and the battle above the skies with the Biolizard were all great moments. Yeah, the character animations in the cutscenes were just out there, and I hate "Live and Learn," but the controls were tight, music was pretty good, and the Battle mode introduced in the GC port was loads of fun. After ten years, hopefully Sega can bring forth the third Adventure. Just, don't fuck it up. Plz.
