I didn't want to get one.

Well, I got one anyway because one of my online friends apparently has way too much money (yes, I got one for free, with two games included even). It's... alright. Meh. Actually it's very bare bones. And it has a weak WiFi module. And shutting this thing down is annoying (you have to get up, push and hold the power button for 3 seconds, then choose "power options" and then "shutdown"). Holding the Joy-Cons sideways is very uncomfortable. The most comfortable position (at least for me) is holding the Joy-Cons separate without the wrist straps.

Super Mario Odyssey is great. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is just a 1080p version with minor fixes. Golf Story is pretty good. And that's about it.

I'm still angry over these useless gimmicks. Nintendo should have put more effort into the online infrastructure, operating system and hardware power. The fact that this is both a portable and a stationary console is gimmick enough. Nobody cares about motion controls, IR sensors, HD rumble and all that shit that simply drives up the cost. I also hate Nintendo's pricing. The docking station is just a piece of plastic that will set you back 80 bucks. Games are generally more expensive. The controllers are outrageously expensive and you even have to buy separate parts (like the wrist straps, if you need them). And don't even get me started on Nintendo Cardboard.
