Abzu's developer Giant Squid was made by a few notable people who worked on Journey and it shows so much that Abzu could be classified as a spiritual successor of Journey with a touch of Flower. Although it feels like a retread at times, the change of scenery provides quite a few powerful moments that make Abzu worth playing.
Pros: Several amazing scenes that pack a punch, excellent art style and music, superb finale, arguably the most believable recreation of undersea's flora and fauna, really relaxing
Cons: Slightly troubling controls and camera, feels like a retread of both Journey and Flower, story is Journey-esque but doesn't come close to reaching its quality and cohesiveness, minor technical issues
