Saved!Rich .Editing … Shame they've moved away from the gravity/planet hopping mechanics in Mario Galaxy. It added a whole new dimension to the gameplay.
Saved!SandvichEditing … SMG2 aside, all the 3D Mario games shake up the core mechanics quite a bit, so I certainly leave room for the possibility of them replacing the wacky gravity aspect with something interesting. Hopefully it's more substantive than a living hat. I just find it amusing that in a time where Nintendo need to make the most positive impression they can, the first thing they show off with the next entry in their star IP is Mario's goofy cartoony self running around a contemporary city interacting with realistically proportioned people. It calls to mind the heavily lampooned aspect of Sonic '06 with an anthropomorphic cartoon animal getting romantically involved with a princess from some generic Square Enix RPG. It's probably an association best avoided.
