So with my GameCube hooked up again with an official Nintendo RGB scart cable that I bought for 5 euros from some schlub who didn't know these things go for 60 on eBay, I finally got to try P.N. 03 for the first time in my life. As a big fan of God Hand and Vanquish, it's really interesting to see how much of those games was already in here. Even RE4, honestly. As far as I know, this was Mikami's first behind-the-back tank control game.

It's very similar to God Hand in that for the first two Game Overs on the first mission, you don't know what the hell you're doing and you're thinking "Oh god, these controls... Move dammit! ARGHHHH!!", but then it just clicks and it turns into the best game ever. Well, God Hand, that is. Not this game. While it's fine, it feels like more of a tech-demo for ideas that would later be reused in Vanquish.

But it's alright. I'll probably beat it today considering how absurdly short it is.
