Though largely overlooked, the Wii U's Pro controller is perhaps the best conventional controller for a console. It has all the buttons and input methods of its PlayStation and Xbox counterparts, but has certain advantages. The D Pad is by far the best of the lot, the battery life is well over 70 hours, and up to four can be used at once, even with a fifth person using the main GamePad. The shoulder buttons not being analog is the only real downside.
