If it weren't for the questionable changes to the battle maps (along with the continued exclusion of the bomb-omb mode) and character roster (Including characters like Pink Gold Peach and Baby Rosalina over Diddy Kong and Boo) this would almost be the perfect Mario Kart game. As it stands, this is still an excellent title, even without the Add-On Content, and could still be the best in the franchise, but the gap between it and other entries is not as wide as it could've been.
