    Woah https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUyMJvrfnhI
Shadow of Mordor runs at 4K/60fps on PS4 Pro!
    Except, wait

GameSpot encoded the video at 60fps, and hoped nobody would notice that we're seeing 30fps gameplay.
It's only being upscaled to 4K, as well--not even running it natively. There's practically no upgrade.

Editing … Wow, I see the video thumbnail and it actually says 4K 60fps gameplay. Those lying fucks.

Editing … I don't think you know what those numbers mean. They're objective enhancements that are being lied about. If I told you the game cost $6 but it was really $60, it's not just a number, numbers mean things.

Editing … 4K would just offer more pixels, and a sharper, more detailed image (moreso if it weren't using the checkerboard technique, however that will still be sharper than 1080p). 60fps would offer twice the frames, giving you a faster reaction time to what occurs onscreen, as well as a smoother experience. If you watch 60fps and 30fps footage side by side, the lower framerate will appear choppy (on its own it's decent, so long as it's a constant 30. It's playable)

Editing … When people get too used to 60fps games, 30fps can make them feel sick. It's nice having a smoother experience, feels closer to life (where we don't even see frames, because our eyes aren't shutters)

Editing … Oh you know what, that's probably natural. It's like watching The Hobbit in 48fps for the first time. But very soon, the smoother, more natural, more realistic movement made the movie so much better, and now I really, really fucking want the 48fps version to get a home release.

Editing … So what if someone lies, intentionally. So what if that person is a journalist. So what if the lie is emphasized as much as possible in the video thumbnail. It's nothing to get worked up about. Why, I betcha the only reason he bothered to lie is because it wouldn't affect anything. After all, people only lie when they don't stand to gain anything from it. Also, who cares if the numbers are a lie. They're just numbers, man. Since when do numbers matter.

Editing … Aren't almost all third-party Pro games expected to be upscaled to 4K instead of running natively. And correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the hardware upgrade only on the GPU side? And there isn't actually going to be much change in framerate? If anything, wouldn't the higher resolution mean that games are likely to run at a slower framerate on Pro than compared to old-skool PS4? Wasn't that the case with Infinite Warfare?

Editing … I believe it has a CPU increase as well, and it can run more games at 1080/60, while the PS4 was unable. It also has more RAM than the original PS4.
