I have a friend asking if there are any good add-ons that can hide inn-app purchase pop-ups. She used to use "Lucky Patcher"

Editing … I would also appreciate such an app. Also something that removes ads from apps (goddamned things). Amazon Underground actually offers lots of free and paid apps at no cost ("Actually Free" they title it), and often with all microtransactions made free, and all ads removed. Amazon, how you do it?

Editing … If you weren't going to use it, then don't use it. It's disingenuous to say you weren't going to use it and then use it. Also you reduce incentive for other developers to make a similar app without ads, because apparently everyone is fine using the apps that have ads in them. Also, if everyone did what you did then the creator if the app goes hungry and nobody bothers making any new apps for you to hack because they know people will just hack them leaving them without revenue. Take that to its logical conclusion, you should just not use the app as by your choice the app wouldn't exist.

Editing … I wouldn't use it with ads. I would use it without. It's a simple difference that vastly improves an app--I wouldn't use Google if every other result was meatspin. Filter out meatspin, alright, I'll use it. "But Husky, you said you wouldn't use it"--but now the primary issue preventing me from using it is gone, so why keep to that previous principle, now that there isn't a problem?

Editing … "Take this, for example--I use apps without ads. You don't want to use apps without ads, even after hearing how I do." That's only because you don't understand moral principle. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_utilitarianism Also I hold tech to a mass market standard. If I don't like an app the way it was released then I don't use it rather than holing myself up into a bubble where everything is only the way I do it.

Editing … So you want everything vanilla. I want things to actually be good. Morals are subjective--they're a personal standard of what's acceptable, it's not that I don't understand moral principle, it's that my actions aren't based on your subjective morals. Why would I look at something, say "man, that sucks," and not actually work to fix it? Wouldn't it just be completely pathetic to lay back and say "well, I guess I'll use this bad version..."
