    This game forces you to make extremely hard choices. And it sucks. But it's kinda neat too...

    I like the controls a lot and wish it was more of a platformer and less of a third person shooter open world thingy.

    A game that gives an enjoyable super hero experience! Getting around the city is far more enjoyable than similar games this generation like Assassin's Creed; climbing buildings isn't a case of holding a button and pointing the analogue stick up, you actually have to think about the best way to move upwards. There's a decent range of powers (albeit some are far more useful than others) and the draining electricity mechanic works well. The Karma system feels shallow (and there's clearly no choice involved), but on the upside it does provide a different experience for the second playthrough. My biggest complaint would have to be the overworld - it doesn't have much personality, and has several sections clearly copied and pasted.

    In inFamous you can find a solid 3rd-person superhero action game which lets you decide to be the hero or the villain. Kinda.

    The game features a karma system and strongly emphasizes it, rating everything you do as good or evil. But it doesn't affect all too much of the game; only minorly the gameplay, the last third of the story and the ending - which in itself has a certain incomplete feel.

    The story is mostly linear and there's no multiplayer - which is both fine by me. The cutscenes are told in a simplistic but flashy comic-book-style. Skills are unlocked while progressing through the story, skill upgrades are unlockable via XP.

    My only problem: the sticky auto-placement of Cole makes the controls sometimes impossible to be fun.

    inFamous has some fun gameplay but only for a little while. After a couple of hours of having a blast the game becomes tedious and repetitive much like the original Assassin's Creed. Definitely check it out if your into superheroes and the whole superpowers shindig. I couldn't really get into the story but I know a lot of people that loved the story.
