    Really addicted to this so far, wasn't expecting it to grab me. Sigma and Phi are really annoying at first but they've grown on me at the moment.

    Loved this game :) Got every ending and only have a couple more of the archives left to get. Looks like this may be my first Platinum Trophy :D Haha, I think this game may have outdone the Metal Gear Franchise on ridiculous plot-twists. In most games with multiple-endings, I rarely go back and try an alternate path, but I loved the way Virtue's Last Reward encourages you to try out as many endings as you can, gaining insight into the plot bit by bit until eventually the story starts to fall into place. I'm a little sad that I played this game before 999, as I think I have probably spoiled myself story-wise, but I am definitely going to buy it anyway, as the prospect of an end to the trilogy is looking shaky at best and I want more of this style of gameplay. I've recently made the decision to delve into the Visual Novel genre and this was certainly a good place to start. Another hit for the Vita ^_^

    For the most part, an improvement over its already overwhelming predecessor. The flowchart is a MUCH needed addition considering the number of endings and scenario prerequisites has skyrocketed. The downside to this is that pacing is easily disrupted. Tension can be broken by switching to a different path at any time, and jumping back into the middle of a timeline can be confusing. The upside is steady grand scheme development. You'll learn about and appreciate each individual character, and slowly find more pieces of the puzzle without seeing the big picture until the end. Character models look great, especially considering they were rushed. Voice acting is superb. Escape rooms are overly formulaic, but the puzzles themselves are neat.

    999 had a few likable characters. This had none. 999 had some dumb plot twists but they at least made sense. This has totally convoluted plot twists that only make sense if you don't think about them at all. And the ending was awful. Simply atrocious. Just give me the conclusion to the series already. I'll give them the flowchart though. The flowchart was a great idea and it fixed 999's biggest problem but I really couldn't get past that plot. 24 endings is too many, I'll close with that.
