World of Goo almost seems like it was made for the Wii controller. The Goo building mechanic only seemed to function at its best with the Wii controller. Aside from that, World of Goo just has a lot of cool ideas in general. The Goo Tower mode was the perfect diversion for casual gamers to build an infinite-story tower. The game might look simple, but it reaches extremely challenging levels at around chapter two.

I'm not a huge fan of these low-budget physics games, but World of Goo is one of the better ones. It deserves a lot of recognition as one of the first relevant indie hits. Aside from that, I wouldn't come back to this game. The mouse controls really hurt my hand after so many hours, so unfortunately, this one only works well with the Wiimote.

Superb! Yeah, that's right, superb. One of the best indie games I played, World of Good is perfect in every single detail. We have a great art direction, a great soundtrack, great physics and clever puzzles. At the very beginning I was very upset because I didn't know how to build that damn tower, but ALL the puzzles are amazing. Great job 2D Boy, I'm already looking into "Little Inferno". Hyper recommended.

World of Goo is one of the greatest puzzle games ever created! The developers took the simple concept of joining together goo balls and expanded it in so many directions - it's very rare you'll need to do the same thing twice, the levels continually requiring you to adapt to new mechanics (but designed in such a way so that you never feel unprepared). This game does what many puzzle games fail to do, and hits that sweet spot of challenge consistently throughout the experience, with about 1 part difficulty coming from figuring out the solution, and 3 parts difficulty executing the solution. It can sometimes be frustrating when your creation collapses before you, but this only matches the feeling of accomplishment you get after success.
